Sand-sational25 viewsI created this one for the 1/2 challenge - the discontinued mfr. is Lily Bee (RIP) for the paper strips, and the "new" items are the white acetate accents, which are from Elle's Studio (got them as part of their Black Friday sale last November, so they're new to me).
The page itself is about my family's trip to White Sands, NM - wide open sand dunes for all for sledding and photos!

Bridge Climb24 viewsMy hubby and I had a lot of fun at this tour while on vacation - the Sydney Bridge Climb, over the Sydney Harbor. They made you wear special suits with a bunch of buckles, you couldn't wear watches or big earrings, they gave you straps for your sunglasses and hat - you had to take a breathalyzer test too!
Great views, and although my husband was a little nervous about the height, it was such a unique experience.

Fabulous Hats21 viewsOur kids teased us about these "old people" hats that we bought for outdoor activities. But on our trip to Washington national parks this month, we saw dozens of people wearing the same style hats! Cut to this week, when our neighbor told my husband, "I didn't recognize you because you looked like an old man in that hat." Ha!

Expectation vs. Reality19 viewsWhen my family and I were on a hike in Yosemite this summer, Mirror "Lake" did not meet expectations (pretty much a pond now!). But, we did have a good time together on the scenic, shady hike, and a duck came up to us in the lake/pond...just a reminder to enjoy the journey and make the most of it!
