She's now adapting well to college, she's communicating with us, and even though she does have daily struggles, she's coping and adulting well!

Expectation vs. Reality19 viewsWhen my family and I were on a hike in Yosemite this summer, Mirror "Lake" did not meet expectations (pretty much a pond now!). But, we did have a good time together on the scenic, shady hike, and a duck came up to us in the lake/pond...just a reminder to enjoy the journey and make the most of it!

The Dodgers fans were not kind, yelling curse words and fighting in the stands (even with each other). My son and his friend are Astros fans, and they thought it was sort of funny. I thought the baseball cards in the urinals were funny, but their throwing water bottles at my son was not! Anyway - it was something to document, and I was able to use my stash, even better!

Broken Bow14 viewsBroken Bow is a state park in Oklahoma, and my husband's family decided to do a mini family reunion there. I say mini, because not everyone could go, but those of us who did enjoyed boating/swimming/tubing, hiking, family games and meals, and campfires with s'mores. We also had a fabulous cabin that could sleep 15 people!
