Challenge #6 spaghetti sauce Although this is not a layout with my homemade sauce, spaghetti is something we love and bottle every year. It is definitely a comfort food for our family.

Friday Night Lights
The sweet that I added is the drink cup next to the golf bag i n the top photo. My husband had to fix the vitamin water for the golfer during the 3 days of golf. It had a bit of sweetness to it.


Chicken Noodle Soup
There was fighting during the war of 1812 in my town. We have many markers telling where events happened in my town. I chose METAL to represent the guns and bullets shot during this war.

Challenge #6 Comfort foods

Our favorite food in our area is Firemen's Field Day Chicken.....It is the marinade that we love
5 cups salad oil
10 cups white vinegar
10 ounces salt
1/3 cup poultry seasoning
1/2 ounce black pepper
7 eggs
Bring to a boil the first 5 ingredients. Then let it cool completely. when thoroughly cooled add the 7 eggs and stir in briskly. Keep sauce in a jar in the refrigerator. You can reuse the marinade. You can make half of the recipe.
