Happy Hump Day - Wednesday 06/07/2017

Post by tammyfolk »

Good morning ladies....what's everyone up to??

Off to work as soon as I drop G off at school....he has his last finals today.

Shawn and I wound up binge watching a show on Netflix called the 100! It's amazing. Even he is watching, and it takes quite a bit to get his attention and keep it. If you haven't seen it, I highly suggest it!

No major plans for today. Finishing up some band related stuff and cleaning up my scrap table....I now have piles, that just need sorted and put away....progress is slow as I'm sidetracked easily....

so what's on your agenda??

And again,....more baseball. We lost big time last night. Kids were so defeated, mentally and physically. They are trying to squeeze in all the rainouts we had. Having a game almost everyday is starting to take its toll on the boys.

I had to take my 15yo dd shopping last night for a swimsuit. ugh!! she is soooo picky!! She settled on one, but I dont think she really wanted it. I feel like I wasted 2 hours and she is going to want to return it soon.

No idea what to make for dinner tonight...I'm thinking hot dogs...

I have some health care and insurance related stuff to take care of today. That means time wasted on hold and being switched from department to department until I get the info I need. We're beginning to heat up here in the High Desert -- temperatures in the upper 80's today, 90's by Friday and close to 100 by Sunday. :o We planted flowers in the front yard patch where we removed a cottonwood tree that wasn;t doing well. The flowers are taking root nicely and giving our yard some much needed color. The two oak barrel planters are looking really good. Mom's Martha Washington geraniums are gorgeous.

Another busy morning here. Hubs worked last night so I have canine duty. It's suppose to rain later so I got outside and mowed the grass in the dog run and raked it up. Still need to weed eat but ran out of string. I guess I will be making a trip to Lowe's here soon. Getting ready to shower now, make a late lunch, dehydrate some sweet potatoes and sew.

Dylan had cf specialist appt and Noah seen in same office for his asthma. Left at 730 not home till 400 . Course it's an hour and 45 minute ride there. Oh my word it took so long today but t the good news is both boys have improved lung functions! Dylan has gained two pounds since the day the gtube was put in.

So now I am home but wiped out!

When nuclear Armageddon destroys civilization on Earth, the only survivors are those on the 12 international space stations in orbit at the time. Three generations later, the 4,000 survivors living on a space ark of linked stations see their resources dwindle and face draconian measures established to ensure humanity's future. Desperately looking for a solution, the ark's leaders send 100 juvenile prisoners back to the planet to test its habitability. Having always lived in space, the exiles find the planet fascinating and terrifying, but with the fate of the human race in their hands, they must forge a path into the unknown.
