Join us this November for a frightfully fun month of Addams Family-inspired scrapbooking challenges! Whether you're channeling Wednesday’s deadpan wit, Morticia’s gothic glam, or Uncle Fester’s electrifying energy, there’s something for every macabre memory maker.
Dig up your darkest papers, eerie embellishments, and mysterious mementos—because it’s time to get Altogether Ooky with your creativity!
A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.
Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....
We all remember Pubert Addams, the mustachioed little bundle of mischief, baby brother of Wednesday and Pugsley from Addams Family Values (1993). He might be tiny, but he sure knows how to steal the spotlight!
For today’s challenge, we’re taking inspiration from Pubert and celebrating all things cute, new, and just a little bit mischievous.
Your Challenge:
1. Use a baby photo on your layout — or include something brand new (a new photo, product, or technique you’ve been wanting to try).
2. Add paper strips to your page — layer them, journal on them, or use them as decorative accents.
3. Sprinkle in some stars — stamped, punched, sequined, or however you’d like!
And most importantly, have fun with it!
For my example I’m sharing my first page as a grandma with a picture of my grandson when he was born. I adore the picture, he seems to be calling me, “GRANDMAAAAA! and if you point your phone camera to the QR code, you will hear his crying. The paper, stickers, and ephemera are new. The titles, I’ve had them for the longest time but the packages had never been opened.
Whether your page turns out sweet, spooky, or somewhere in between, we can’t wait to see how you add a touch of Pubert-style charm to your creations!
