A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.

For today’s challenge, we’re taking inspiration from Pubert and celebrating all things cute, new, and just a little bit mischievous.
Your Challenge:
1. Use a baby photo on your layout — or include something brand new (a new photo, product, or technique you’ve been wanting to try).
2. Add paper strips to your page — layer them, journal on them, or use them as decorative accents.
3. Sprinkle in some stars — stamped, punched, sequined, or however you’d like!
And most importantly, have fun with it!
For my example I’m sharing my first page as a grandma with a picture of my grandson when he was born. I adore the picture, he seems to be calling me, “GRANDMAAAAA! and if you point your phone camera to the QR code, you will hear his crying. The paper, stickers, and ephemera are new. The titles, I’ve had them for the longest time but the packages had never been opened.
