10/7 Tuesday

Post by Tamara »

Good Morning!
Another busy day for me. I have a massage this morning then have to come home and get ready to pick up grandkids after school then stay at their house overnight to take them back to school in the morning. My son is going to California this morning for work, so since the hotel and his flight are paid by his work , DIL is flying down with him and going to Disneyland to make more content for her Shoplocker55 business account. They have season passes so it is a great get away with not kids but short live, She will be home tomorrow in time to pick them up from school. I told her that sounds like the good life and to have fun. She said they never dreamed of going without the kids though.
Happy Tuesday!

Not such a good morning here. Went to flush the toilet and it wouldn't flush. Thankfully it didn't overflow. Dh tried the plunger but it still won't flush. Called the plumber and they will be here around noon. Thankfully we have another bathroom.
Anyway.....no other plans for today other than some scrappy time. Finally got the lo done I've been working on....just in time since it's for tomorrows challenge. I'm just hoping I can get it uploaded. I took a pic of it and then had a hard time uploading it to the computer. I just updated my laptop to Windows 11 and it's so different and I'm having a hard time finding things with the new system.

Tamara, have fun with the grands.
Tracy, oh no, at least you have a second bathroom. If mine goes out, I will have to walk to Kyle's house.

It's another stay at home day for me. My only plans are to piddle around the house and wash the bed linen.

we are having a rainy day here. We do the rain. everything has been dry I went to mass this am and then to quilting. I brought a box of quilt squares from my grandma. Some are just cut squares, some are sewed together in a quilt square to add with other squares. There are even a couple sets of squares that go together. I sorted through them and have some ideas of what I will make. The first will be a small quilt that I will finish and give to my grandson. Then I'll make some lap quilts for my family. For now I will go scrap for a bit; while I watch more of The Midwife

I hear you! Changing computer systems becomes a learning curve. Sometimes I get it the first try and other times it takes me forever. You are not alone and DH thinks he can help when all he does is get in the way
