Flu season check-in! Have you already braved the flu shot, or are you still dodging the needle?

I will brave it on the 29th, which is my next dr.'s appt.

Jorge and I got them today, and since we are planning on being around our grandson in November we went ahead and got the Tdap as well. Pictures will be coming soon to a scrapbook challenge near you!

I am one of the people who do not get the shots. The only time I did, I got the flu, and I have been told that I react to meds in unusual ways. I don't typically get the flu, despite being around children all the time.

I will get the Flu shot.

I do not get the flu shot. Like Patti, the one time I got the shot I got the flu. I've been around others who have the flu and have never gotten it. The Dr. says it's a mystery why this happens to some people and recommends I don't get the shot and stay away from people who have the flu.

We’re on the road and my arms and back are hurting like crazy from the shots I got yesterday!

We got them two weeks ago before we came to California. The first time I had a flu shot I also got the flu although they claim that doesn’t happen. I worked in a dental office for years and never got sick either without the shock but now that I have this disease, it is recommended that I get it so I have been getting it for the last 10 years and not had any problems. Better safe than sorry for me.
