Saturday 8/30

Post by Jan Mosier »

Good morning everyone. What’s on your plate today?

It’s another stay at home day for me. I have a few projects to work on then the rest of the day is mine.

Good morning! Happy Saturday! The only thing we have planned for today is church. I might do my nails and later finish the pages I started for some of the challenges.

I almost couldn't remember what day it is. The week goes by so quickly. This morning I was busy with putting away groceries that hubby bought, then went to adoration at church. Home to talk with hubby then lunch. My friend called to wish me a belated birthday and we talked almost an hour. Hubby left for work and now the house is quiet. Well it is usually quiet ;) So now that is is just past noon I am heading to my scrap closet to scrap. I'll watch "Call the Midwife on Netflix while I craft

Another quiet day at home here. It's a gloomy, rainy day. Have some laundry going and planning on some scrappy time once that's finished.

Went to Ollie's yesterday but they didn't have much. I did buy a few sheets of glitter paper, pop dots and a set of stamps. They seemed to have more cake decorating supplies.

DH gets home from Gabon tonight so I'm cleaning up all the painting--reorganizing mess I made.

Gabon, Africa? How long has he been gone? Is he in the military. You probably told this before I just can't remember

Gabon, Africa. 2 weeks. Not military. Works as a field electrician for Samaritan's Purse, traveling the world to upgrade and repair equipment in partner hospitals or set up field hospitals in disaster areas.

It was a full day in Disneyland today. I got over 14,000 steps and it would have been more but DH and I came back to the hotel and had dinner, then called it a night. My daughter and granddaughter went over to California adventure and didn’t get back to the hotel till after 11.
No scrapping for me just trying to get more pictures to have memories and more pages in my books!
Good night!
