Happy Saturday Ladies - 7/12/2025

Post by tammyfolk »

Good morning ladies - so what's on your agenda today??

We're supposed to go to a mini zoo / local rescue place today, but the grandkids don't seem to be very motivated today and honestly, it's a pretty hot and humid one out there today . . . I don't know that I'd be too terribly disappointed if we didn't wind up going. Besides, I have a ton of housework to do today, and with Shawn gone now for the last and final time, things in the house can be moved around, and set up to my liking as I move forward with my life. . .

I did take several pictures over the last couple of days, and Everly has shown an interest in scrapbooking, so I may gather some things together for her and get her started . . . as it really is a perfect day to stay inside.

Anyone scrapbooking today? If not, what's on YOUR agenda?

Hello scrapping friends! I am in Miami Beach right now. My family and I saw Morgan Wallen last night. It was a TERRIFIC show! Today we are driving to Key West, so I thought I would hop on here & say hi before we leave for the islands. Have a great weekend!

Tammy, scrapping with your granddaughter will be wonderful! So glad your life is getting some normalcy.
Stephanie have fun in Key West!
Phillis yay for scrapbooking!
It is another stay at home day for me except running to Walgreens to pick up more photos. And my prescriptions. I will be scrapping today. DH has the early matinee shift so I will have four solid uninterrupted hours to get something done. It's another hot day here. It doesn't bother me me because our basement stays cool no matter what.
Happy Saturday!

No real plans for today other than some light housework. Have laundry going and need to remake the beds. Hoping for some more scrappy time this afternoon. I spent most of yesterday making cards. Dh wanted a card for a friend of his and drew me a picture of what he wanted so I made it and said here you go, right on time. Then he tells me he doesn't need the card til November! :D

Hello Everyone! Woke up with lower back pain this morning and that's kept me from getting things done I wanted to do today. Been on the heating pad, Aleeve, and Voltaren. So hoping that all helps soon!

Grandson Kellan is staying with us for the week. Firewood needs to be split and stacked. They work on it a couple hours in the morning, but then it's just too hot in the 90's. Also he'll be helping DH to tear out a living wall as it's buckling in. (We live on a hill that's sliding.) We have the Basement Dr. coming early August to repair that, but DH has to tear it all out and get it ready. He even has to tear out some of the flooring and ceiling.

I'm trying to scrap a bit this afternoon. Enjoy your day, everyone!

Hoping your back settled down. That's no fun. Glad your grandson is there to help. You have a great family!
