5/23 Friday

Post by phillisw »

Good Morning. Any exciting plans for today? I'm going to morning mass with my sister. Then she and her daughter will be leaving. I will scarp and then do some cleaning around the house and wash the bedding from my sister and niece.

Happy Friday, everyone!
I just finished the homework for Vicki Boutin’s class—what a blast it was to play with the kit! I’m hoping to keep the creative momentum going with more projects later today. Tonight, we’re planning to watch a couple of Mission: Impossible movies as part of our rewatch marathon before catching the newest (and final!) installment.

Good Morning!

I was up early today and had to run outside and pull up all the flags I put in the yard to keep the mowers away for the past 2 weeks. They started mowing at 6:30 this morning! Got it done in the nick of time! :D
Today, I think we are going to another scooter store. We were supposed to go yesterday but I turned into a crying, blubbering mess. Dh surprised me with a box of chocolates and the most beautiful card. He said since I've been doing so much for him lately he wanted to do something nice for me. I cried all afternoon!
Anyway....if we don't go scooter shopping I'll be in my scraproom.

Tracy how sweet of your hubby. It is always nice to be appreciated although we take for grated that we are.
Phillis it's always bitter sweet to get your house back after company.
Lolis You'll have to share your projects from Vivki's class. Sounds fun!

One day home from Their almost two week vacation and my granddaughter asked my yesterday if I wanted to go to Zoo lights with her. YES!! it ends this weekend and I thought I wouldn't be able to go. She was right, the night lights made the displays come alive! My DD was pretty sore after walking 20,000 steps a day but she powered through with us. I loved it! DH was working so I didn't have to worry about taking so long oe=r being so late coming home. He beat me home by one minute. The garage door was still up.
Today I am going to lunch with some friends. One of them is moving out of state so it will be our last time together.
Happy Friday!

Left the house early to head to Hartsville to spend the day with my mom and sister. Got home in time to feed the dogs. Washed one load of clothes, scoured the kitchen sinks and made a pitcher of tea. Been sitting on the sofa with the dogs since. Hoping tomorrow is much more productive.
