Do you save everything? Are you a "hoarder"?

I think, ok I know that I am.  I am trying to be better. I just think I might need IT.

I save everything, in case I need it one day. Kyle is always calling to ask if I have something and most times I do, why? Because I save everything!

I’ve been making an effort to downsize lately, and it’s really starting to show, especially in the kitchen. My countertops look so much better now without all the extra clutter. I’ve also cleared out a lot of old clothes, including most of my school wardrobe. The only downside? When May the 4th rolled around, I went looking for a Star Wars T-shirt and couldn’t find a single one. I guess they must’ve ended up in the donation pile. Oh well!

I am married to Mr. OCD and I have been remarkably better and getting rid of stuff as I go. Like Lolis, I cleaned off my kitchen counter and now the breadboards are stored in the side of a cupboard below and my Kitchen stays so much cleaner now!

I went through a big purge last Spring so I try not to hoard things.

I am not, but DH is....we are working on it. My feeling is, if it hasn't been used in a year (other than craft supplies), it needs to go to someone who will use it. IF (and it seldom happens) it is something that I might need later, I would rather repurchase it than constantly move it around. I also have the rule that if something new comes in, something old must leave when it comes to the kitchen and clothing.
