Fairy tales often had lessons in them to teach kids. They were dark, because the protagonist would suffer a consequence for a behavior that is seemed undesirable. Today we’re taking inspiration from one of the Brothers Grimm stories, The Wolf and the Seven Kids.
When a mother goat leaves her seven kids at home, a hungry wolf disguises himself as their returning mother and gobbles whole all but the youngest kid. But the mother goat thinks up an ingenious way to save all of her children and punish the wolf ― by sewing rocks into his stomach!
The challenge: 1. Start with a white background like the paws of the mother goat. 2. Use wood grain or different textures to represent the house the kids were in. 3. Since there are seven kids, use seven of something on page. I used 7 layers under the photo, 7 leaves stickers, 7 enamel dots, 7 letters for the title.
