Join us as we pay homage to the one and only "King of Rock and Roll" - Elvis Presley. Presley's energized performances and interpretations of songs, and sexually provocative dance moves make for a fun and exciting month of challenges. So grab that peanut butter and banana sandwich, put on those blue suede shoes, & tell everybody in the whole cell block to come play along with us this month.
A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.
Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....
Elvis said about music, "Without A Song, the day would never end: without a song, a man ain't got a friend; without a song, the road would never bend - without a song. So I keep singing a Song."
His Song "If I Can Dream' has similarities with Martin Luther King Jr's 1963 "I Have A Dream" who was assassinated in Memphis 2 months prior.

I grew up listening to Elvis songs and watching his movies. He was probably at the top of Mom's list. Always great music you could sing along with. Your Challenge today is to use some type of music photo (if you have it). You could use a school or church performance, etc. Or maybe just a photo of singing together with someone. + Use a Musical Instrument + Enamel Dots.
Photo of sweet grandson Kellan at a place in Nashville. This is his favorite band there and they played a couple songs for him.
