When you start on a layout, do you reach for scraps first or full sheets of paper?





I reach for the entire paper collection first, decide on which papers I want to use and if I have a scrap piece, I will use it first, but I don't reach for it first.

usually I look through my scraps or collections to see what I have to go with my photo(s). Then I decide if I want a solid or print background

I start with the full sheets, then look for the scraps.

I think it really depends if you're working with a sketch or working with the photo first. I think I do both.
