Our iconic character today is The Hamburglar!
The Hamburglar is one of the McDonaldland characters who is forever trying (and failing) to steal McDonald’s hamburgers. His look has changed over the years but he has traditionally worn black and white stripes, a mask, and red gloves.
Your challenge is to not only use the sketch below but also to use striped patterned paper, a masking technique, and pops of red on your layout.

Masking is the use of materials to protect an area from change. I used a large die cut to cover the center of my background paper. I then sprayed the entire thing with gold mist. When I removed the large die cut, the space underneath was clean and left an outline of the shape.
I then used a leaf die cut on scraps of black and white striped paper and stamped/die cut labels to use for journaling strips.
I can’t wait to see what you come up with for this challenge. Your masking technique, use of striped paper, and pops of red can be as large or small as you like! Have fun!!
