A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.

Today’s Food Character is Mr. Peanut. He is the advertising logo and mascot of Planters. Today you can find him on Planters Peanuts containers. This is a photo of my Mr. Peanut Bank that I’ve had since I was a kid. According to my parents, I was a big fan of his so I had to choose him for this challenge.
So let’s see lots of yellow and black papers, along with some kind of texture and lots of layers.
