Join us all month long as we pay homage to all things associated with the culture and history of America . . . whether it be apple pie, hot dogs, or baseball . . .we each have something that makes us feel nostalgic and proud of our great USA!
A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.
Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....
When I think of America, I think about the brave men and women who fought for our freedom. So for today's challenge I want you to use the sketch below by Lisa Hidy from Sketch N Scrap. I also want you to use metal to represent the bravery of these men and women, as well as adding some stenciling to your background.
