Not anything drastic, maybe just a knick. However a friend of mine dropped her scissors and when she tried to catch them she cut her bad enough to go to the ER for stitches

Not really, just a knick or two.
But once when I was sewing I somehow managed to cut the shorts I was wearing with my seam ripper....no idea how I managed that but cut them so badly that I couldn't wear them anymore.

I have never gotten any major cuts, but I will never forget when my high school art teacher cut herself with a craft knife making mats for our drawings. There was so much blood!
