Join us all month long as we post challenges based on the "Casino Night" theme.

A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.

For today’s challenge, let’s take inspiration from the iconic roulette wheel! Focus on **circular elements** to create a dynamic layout that echoes the spinning excitement of a casino. Use **stamps or stencils** to build a layered, textured background that draws the viewer in. Incorporate **repetition** of circular shapes—think concentric rings, clustered circles, or repeated stamped patterns—to guide the eye around your layout. Add **arrows** as accents, directing attention to key parts of the page and mimicking the movement of a spinning wheel. Let your creativity roll, and make each layer bring more energy and excitement to your design!
For my example I used recent pictures from our trip to Knoxville, TN. We went to play miniature golf. Not shown is an extra 1/2 page that will hold more pictures and the journal part.
