Scrap Question of the Day 10/17/2024

We are gonna be traveling until about November 17th. 2 Cruises out of Port Canaveral and then 10 days in Punta Cana. We won't have any phone service. So, if anyone wants to jump in on Thursdays and do the questions of the day that would be GREAT! Thank you!


Is there a particular embellishment in your stash that you are tired of using?


For me, it's ribbon. I rarely use it anymore, just for a challenge. Purged most of it a few years ago.

I would have to say ribbon and fibers too. Although, I may use them in my junk journals just to get rid of them.

Ribbon is a close 2nd (although you will see it on my challenge tomorrow. ) I think it is the old doodlebug acrylic buttons and tab words. I almostnever use them which means it is time for them to go!

Ribbon is right up there along with buttons---sorry, Phillis. It seems like it is a real effort use them anymore. I think back to when they were really popular and we didn't have all the mixed media we do now that adds the dimension that buttons and ribbons used to do...plus it's faster.

I have my buttons all tied with thread so I can just pop them on my pages. You are right, Patti: there are so many cool dimensions for scrap pages now
