Scrap Question of the Day - 07/31/2024

Post by tammyfolk »

When it comes to scraps, most of us save them . . . but at what point is the piece of paper "too small" to save? (be honest)

I really don't know what I'd classify as too small to save. I don't save tiny scraps or ones I think I'll have no use for. I keep color folders of scraps. Then, after awhile I'll go through them and throw stuff away.

I also save those border strips, Jan! :D

I save just about every scrap no matter how small. I use them as test pieces for ink or stamps.

Jan, I save those strips too!

I have only saved the branding strips when I am working with a collection. I have three scrap boxes. 12x12 4x6 and 4x3 or 3x3 the rest is garbage. I have way too much paper to save the small stuff!

depends on what the scrap is...if it is a favorite pattern, it stays. If something I have lots of it goes into a giveaway if it is large enough otherwise it visits the trash fast.

I save the strips if they have a pattern on there

I save the scraps for my small dies and cut those out or for a to do a punch with for my punch inventory, etc.
