Join us all month long as we pay homage to all things associated with the culture and history of America . . . whether it be apple pie, hot dogs, or baseball . . .we each have something that makes us feel nostalgic and proud of our great USA!

A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.

Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....



Hey everyone! Your challenge today is to use predominately Blue on your layout, but you can add other colors as well. Also I'd like to see some Paper Strips + Wordy Phrases.

When we went to Niagra Falls in 2010, at night they colored the falls. I had to document it with all the colors but then remembered it had to be mostly blue! I added the strips and title and wala,,,
