Join us all month long as we spend some time in the Hundred Acre Woods with our favorite honey-loving teddy bear Winnie the Pooh and all of his Friends.
A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.
Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....
Pooh always seems to find a way to keep things exciting in the 100 Acre Woods--- whether he is stuck in Rabbit's hole while he samples too much honey, being carried away by balloons, or even finding a tail, his stories have entertained us since 1926. These books have sold by the hundreds of thousands, been translated into 50 languages, and made into movies so let's honor Pooh and friends once more by creating our own stories.
Today's challenge will be focusing on the sketch plus some type of flip page(s) that will create the feeling of opening a book or telling a story.
I used the flip flop pages but you can use any method you would like. There are plenty of YouTube tutorials if you are stuck for ideas. I also focused my story on a little boy in honor of Christopher Robin and showed pictures of how that little boy can make things exciting in his own 100 Acre Woods.
Be creative and have fun!
