Thursday 12/22

Post by Tamara »

Good Morning!

Watching Emily in Paris season 3 while finishing up odds and ends for Christmas. It's a stay at home day until tonight. We have tickets to the Matt and Savannah Christmas concert with guest Claire and Dave Crosby. (that's why I am really going. Love them!) When we bought the tickets I assumed DH would be better from knee surgery but last week we realized that he would never be able to walk that far from parking to the venue so he opted not to come. I am going tonight with a friend. Can't wait!
Happy Thursday!
What's on your plate today?

Have fun, Tamara! Love the Crosby family. I'm wrapping gifts and cleaning and dh is putting up the crown molding for the third time. He got it part way up and realized there is a bow in the ceiling that caused a 1" gap. Got to love old houses. Now he is working on plan three. Hopefully, this time will work. He had a goal to have it done by Christmas but I think it's not happening.
Have a wonderful, wintery, bl; blustery day all! Stay safe and warm.
Patti

Another stay at home day but I'm feeling much better. If my nose would stop running that would be wonderful. :D
Hoping to get back to scrapping today.

Good Morning, almost afternoon. hubby and I were off early this am. I had a foot dr apt to get some corns removed, then to breakfast, to the grocery store to pick up a few things, stopped at a thrift store looking for a floor lamp for my dd (no luck), and a couple other short stops. Hubby wants his hair cut and no one had time. He usually goes to another town to get his hair done, but they are now closed on the weekend and he has been working every day at school for weeks. He is way overdue for his hair cut and wanted one today ;) We finally found a place for this afternoon. He has a chiropractic apt so he will go do both later
I will wrap more presents and read today

I had a busy morning as it is my mother's hair day. Weather is supposed to get bad here, but thankfully this morning things were just a little soggy. After her appointment, I took her home and fixed her some coffee and a little breakfast bowl she likes. Chatted with her a few minutes and then came home. I am finishing up a couple of scrapbook pages I have in the works.

Enjoy your concert, Tamara. Just work for me (year-end stuff) and come home and packed a few things. The house offer is kinda of on hold. So the seller also has a contingency contract and the people she’s trying to buy from won’t extend her deadline of December 31st. So our realtor is trying to get ours sold without listing, etc. so maybe that would get everyone happy. If not, it’s not meant to be and DH & I will keep looking.

And it is stinking COLD here - like single digits. Our outside dogs we stuck all sorts of hay, etc. in their doghouse condo. Praying everyone in this cold is okay.
