October 2022 - Guest Designer - Amy Jo Johnston

With Maureen still out on Medical leave . . . I thought it would be a fun idea to ask last months winner if she'd like to be a Guest Designer this month. I reached out to Amy Jo and she took me up on the offer. She will be posting two (2) challenges for us this month, and I can't wait to see what she "challenges" us with!

And since we always need to know a little more. . . here's a little bit about Amy.

I live with my husband and 10-year-old daughter in Arvada, Colorado but am originally from Kerkhoven, Minnesota. I earned my BA in Secondary Education with an emphasis in mathematics at ASU and went on to teach high school math for 6 years. In 2008, I moved to Denver, changed careers, and starting coaching dance full time in the NBA. I am entering my 16th season with the Denver Nuggets and also enjoy working at my friend's dance studio in Cherry Creek.

My passion for scrapbooking starting when I was in elementary school and really took off when my twin nieces were born in 2004. Family photos are still my favorite things to document, but I also love showcasing highlights from my NBA career and my traveling adventures with my hubby.
