Saturday 5/22

Post by Jan Mosier »

Good morning everyone! What's on your plate today?

Thankfully, it's a stay at home day for me. No plans today other than some light house cleaning and spending time with the pups. I feel guilty for leaving them alone and crated for 3 days this past week.

Well, my 2 hour exercise class was cancelled so I went for an extra long walk instead. Met several of my classmates out also and we were all grumbling about 3 of our 4 classes were cancelled this week. Hopefully tomorrows kickboxing class isn't cancelled. No other plans for today so I am definitely scrapping today.

Good morning ladies -

Shawn and I have been gathering all the recycling around this morning and getting everything loaded for his trip to the recycling center. . . laundry is going, dishwasher is running, and I've already FaceTimed Everly for over an hour this morning. My day is progressing nicely.

Other than some misc things that I'd like to get done this weekend, my goal is to scrapbook most of it, as I really haven't done much of it in the last two weeks. . .

Scrapbooking....is there really anything else?

Good Morning!
Made omelets and hashbrowns for breakfast and we are off to a good start. DH just left to get a haircut so I will be scrapping another layout while he is gone. We have an errand this afternoon, salmon for dinner. Grocery shopping was done last night and some delivered this morning. We are filled up for the week with food. Sure wish I could convince DD to get me birthday pics of her kids in 2008. That album is stuck waiting for them. Maybe I will have to ask 10 times and I am only on #4
Happy Saturday!!

Good afternoon! Hit Lowes, Walmart, and Tractor Supply this morning looking for a garden product that all 3 said they carried. Struck out at all 3. But I did buy plants! Have a great rest of your Saturday!

Hi ladies! It's been a weird week here. I have some health issues and if one isn't acting up the other one is. It was a really tough day yesterday and a couple of days before. I don't get much done on those days. But my DH fixed my dishwasher after the part finally came in! And he spent most of the day working on the dryer today. Keeping my fingers crossed it works when he's done! We bought it used but needed to change it from natural gas to propane gas. It took even longer than the dishwasher did to get that part! I will be so happy to have a working dryer at last! It's been a long time!

I have managed to scrap a bit. Got 2 layouts done this week. And I had an amazing encounter with a deer the other day! We were herding 3 of our geese back into the enclosure and I needed to open the gate. I didn't see her until she moved! She was so close I could have touched her! She was probably a 2 year old and was very curious. Finally at one point she stuck her nose towards a stump where the 4th goose was sitting on a nest. Blue squawked loudly not liking this big nose in her space and the poor doe jumped back in surprise! She just stood there looking at the goose like she couldn't figure out what it was. :) She stayed around for awhile and then she hopped over the fence and went on her way. She'll be back because she was eating their grain and they love skunk cabbage which grows all over our property! I can't believe I didn't have my phone with me! I usually carry it all the time but I forgot it trying to get out there quickly to help my husband. One of those things I won't ever forget! :)

Hope everyone has a great weekend!
