Dec. 21 Mood Board and Sketch

December is all about Mood Boards! Mood Boards can be used to pull ideas, styles, concepts, textures, and most importantly providing a starting point for your inspiration. Join us all month long as we share ours!

I chose this Mood Board because I love the color teal and it pairs so well with dark brown.

Then came the hunt for a sketch. I knew I wanted one for a single photo and I was having a hard time finding one I liked. I finally found this one by Laura Whitaker.

For my layout I chose a photo of my stepdaughter and her boyfriend. Since there weren’t a lot of colors in the photo I thought it would be perfect for this Mood Board.

A new Blue Plate Special challenge will be posted every Monday (sketch), Wednesday, and Friday. All participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations.

Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....
