Scrap QOTD - December 3rd, 2020

When it comes to hand stitiching - do you do it? And . . . If so, do you machine stitch or hand stitch? Do you have a preference?

I'm not a fan of hand stitching. If I do it, it's very rare and very little of it. My sewing machine is buried under 2 inches of dust, so I won't be using that anytime soon! I have a rolling stamp that has a stitch print, washi tape that looks like stitching and I think I used up all of my rub ons stitching.

I haven't stitched on a layout in years. It takes too much time for me. But I have done both. i hand stitched a flower once and I sewed on a few layouts but now would hate to do it on my good machine. I know I can just switch needles but I use it to much to do it now.

I have done both but it's been quite a while. I like the look of it but I don't like doing hand stitching and it's such a pain to get my 30 yr old sewing machine set up.

I have not stitched on a page in years. I had my sewing machine set up I used it often. I hand stitch very rarely. I do love the look of stitching. I actually had been thinking of getting the sewing machine out again and setting it up so I can easily use it

Yes, I hand stitch and machine stitch now and then. My machine still sits in our bedroom so it's convenient.

Ever since 9th grade (or even earlier) I have HATED to sew!!! Then I started taking Allison Davis's 6x6 classes and saw what she did with hand stitching. I finally tried it and now I'm hooked!!! In fact I just got a container, things to wrap embroidery floss on and about 150 skeins of many colors of embroidery floss! I'm totally hooked! :) I sent Allison a note and told her she'd ruined me.
