Good Morning - Thursday 06/08/2017

Post by tammyfolk »

Good Morning ladies...

Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine this morning!! I can't believe it's June, and it still feels like March weather....

Not much on the agenda today....work and then right after, I have to run G to school for his last marching band practice until the summer....he's at school now for graduation practice and then he's officially done! I now have a junior on my hands!

Shawn and I are still binge watching the 100. We finished season 2 last night! Two more to go! It's really, really good!!

My tail is dragging this morning. I sat up late binge watching the last season of Grey's Anatomy and up with the dogs before 7 this morning. It's going to be a long day......and I have market this afternoon. I'm taking Cookie with me so I can get her vaccinated when I drop the treats off at the vets office today. Also have to place an order for oxy absorbers and bake some treats before I go. It's a beautiful morning here......breezy and chilly. I hope it stays this way all day.

We had rain the last couple of days (not a lot by Midwest standards but quitq a bit for here) and now we're going to get temps in the 90's. We planted flowers in the front yard last weekend, and they seem to be acclimating nicely. I love all the color! Mike hated yard work over the years, but he is starting to enjoy planting and tending the flowers now that he's retired. Now he wants to put a "feature" in there -- a replica of an old water pump or something. WHO IS THIS GUY?!?!?!

Gonna be a yard and garden work day for me today. Just waiting for the dew to burn off. Was up at 6 after Maggie would not give up on ringing the bell.

Had another appt.today now driving through back country to see my uncle
Most likely it will be my last time seeing him alive. Very sad . I am happy hubby is off and going along.

Have to make a short visit as need to be home for boys to go to practice.

Sue - hope you have a wonderful visit with your precious uncle.

Sounds like there will be lots of yard work happening today. Do not think I will do any. I might pull some weeds later.
I have to go tutor at 1:00, then run by grocery for a few items. Nice boring day!

It's packing for a scrap retreat weekend for me today! Trying to get things organized and I am dragging my butt!! My house needs a good cleaning and I don't have the energy to even think about it. My Uncle passed away yesterday, my dads youngest brother which leaves my dad the only surviving sibling and he is the one that wants to be gone. It's crazy I have so much to do. A bridal shower next week at my house, now I have to take my dad to a funeral. breathe.....
Happy Thursday to you all!!

Sorry about your uncle, Tamara! I remember when my daddy just wanted to pass on. He's still here, thank God, but he was going through a rough time. Have a nice time at your scrap retreat. Houses can be cleaned anytime.
