NSD CHALLENGE # 7 STRING ART

It's all about string in this challenge. Create a string art embellishment and use it on a LO, tag or card.

The picture was taken from a LO that was done by Julie Johnson of Paisley and Polkadots.


To create this flower you will need a scallop circle and string or twine. The scallops will act as the nails. Start by taping the string to the backside of the circle and begin wrapping the twine around the circle leaving 3 scallops between each wrap. This link will help you understand the wrapping.

I know that this is past the deadline but I wanted to share because I truly wanted to finish in time. I started the layout but didn't finish until last night. Your challenge was creative and awesome and I wanted you to know that if my body had been cooperating, I would have totally played along. So I thought I'd share the final result!
