Do you ever ask a stranger to take a picture so that you can be in the photo? Do you ever offer to take a photo of a family when you realize one of the members is trying to take a picture and would otherwise be left out?

Yes I occasionally ask for some assistance with a photo that I want to be in too.
I always ask if I can take a picture with the cameraman in it every time I see it happening. On our last road trip I caught DH asking someone if they wanted him to take their pic

When the opportunity presents itself I always offer to take the picture and then "my new friends" offer to take one of DH and me.

I've never asked anyone to take our photo but once when the kids were little we took them to the St. Louis zoo. I was taking a picture of them with my hubby and a nice couple asked if I wanted them to take the picture for me so we could all be in it.

I’ve been asked numerous times to take someone’s picture, but I don’t recall ever having asked anyone to take ours.

I have offered and people have offered to take one for me but I usually decline because I hate having my photo taken.
