RQOTD Nov 7

Post by phillisw »

Hello. I’m away with my sisters visiting my aunt, my cousin and her family. Thus my question:

Do you travel to visit your relatives? By car, train, plane?

I traveled from New York State to Montana by airplane to visit my relatives

No, most of our relatives are 1 to 2 hours away. I do have a brother in Alabama who we visited a few years ago and stayed in their little trailer by their house.

The only ones we visit by plane are our sons, or we take a road trip. Everyone else are within driving distance.

We go by car nowadays. Being able to fly free for most of my life, it just kills me to have to pay now. Besides, I enjoy taking a different route when we visit our relatives.

My family is local now . . . so it's just a car drive away.
