I'm finishing up the month of Flintstones themed projects with this layout of my husband and children at Devil's Den in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. The first thing I said when I spotted this part of the Gettysburg Battlefield was, "This looks like something straight out of The Flintstones!" It reminded me of the town of Bedrock. When I was going through my pictures, I thought this trio would be perfect for a Flintstone themed project. Since it is Sketch Monday, I also used this beautiful sketch created by Bev Code for Sketches in Thyme. I loved the patchwork feel of the sketch and felt it would be perfect for a project that was reflecting on the Battle of Gettysburg. So, not only do I challenge you to use this fun sketch, but also to create a "historical" project like I did of our trip to Gettysburg. Perhaps you could feature a trip to a local museum? Or maybe you have a heritage photo you want to showcase? The possibilities are endless. And for an additional challenge, add a doilie to your project. I feel like doilies give layouts a vintage vibe, so I challenge you to use one as well. I'm excited to see everyone's projects!
