SQOTD. 5/20

Post by Tamara »

If you are like me, you have ephemera coming out your ears. How do you organize yours?

I REALLY need to find an answer soon because mine is out of control. I don't have room to keep it with the collection. I have tried plastic zipper bags but they don't work either. HELP

I try to keep it with the collection. If it doesn't go with a collection, it's a mess. I have some 12x12 plastic bins and one is for anything blingy, one for flowers/leaves, and one for everything else. But some metal items are in a drawer and twine is in another drawer. Oh, and some is just laying out on my desk.
Not sure if this is much help :D

If something is part of a collection or kit, I keep everything together. For everything else, I use the 12x12 Iris containers from Michael’s, I have 18 of them. I organize my ephemera and stickers by theme, and I dedicate one of the containers specifically for ribbon. All the boxes fit perfectly on the two shelves of my IKEA table, which makes it easy to keep everything neat and accessible.

Like the others, if it’s part of a collection or kit I keep it with the collection. The rest is thrown in a drawer that I have to dig through each time I scrapbook. Yeah, I’m no help either.

Not everything is ephemera, I have one for ribbons, one for Alphabets, and one for titles. Also stickers and ephemera are together.

I do keep them with the kit or I will put them in with my sorted stuff: by color, by theme.
