On February 26th we Celebrate "National Tell a Fairy Tale Day" - But why not celebrate it all MONTH long?? This month we intend to do just that! Let's celebrate the folklore genre and the stories of magic, enchantments and mythical beings that all take place "Once Upon a Time".
A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.
Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....
Today's Challenge is based on the fairy tale, Cinderella. Cinderella is an orphan who grows up with her wicked stepmother and stepsisters. Her life changes when she attends a ball hosted by the prince. She finds she is suddenly blessed by remarkable fortune, with her ascension to the throne via marriage. Helped by a fairy god mother, mice, and others.
Your challenge today is to scrap lovely 'dressed up' photos of a special event (if you have them) add some butterflies and flowers which I find are all things girly.
