Everybody LOVES Frosty the Snowman. Since his premiere in 1969, Frosty is a character we all remember fondly. Our magical snowman doesn’t know much about the world, but he’s so full of love and cheer that he makes us all so happy.
Join us all month long as we share that "same happiness" with YOU!
A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.
Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....
I am back for my second take on the Frosty the Snowman challenge. As I was planning for this project, I kept having the lyrics, "With a corncob pipe and a button nose..." on repeat in my head. I ended up settling on "buttons" for my theme for the day. This picture was taken of my youngest daughter the first day that the ice cream truck came through our neighborhood during the Spring of 2007. She was 2 years old, and was so happy there was something on the menu that she could eat with her food allergies. I have always thought she was "cute as a button" in this picture, so I decided to make it my focus for today. My challenge to you is to not only use this sketch from 2 Broke Girls Scrapbooking, but also to use buttons on your layout. As an added bonus, I used an older pad of scrapbook paper to create this project. I challenge you to use one of those pads of paper in your stash to create your project. I'm excited to see your "cute as a button" projects!
Here is the sketch...

And here is my project...
