Everybody LOVES Frosty the Snowman. Since its premiere in 1969, Frosty is a character we all remember fondly. Our magical snowman doesn’t know much about the world, but he’s so full of love and cheer, and he made us all so happy. Join us all month long as we share that "same" happiness with YOU!

Everybody LOVES Frosty the Snowman. Since his premiere in 1969, Frosty is a character we all remember fondly. Our magical snowman doesn’t know much about the world, but he’s so full of love and cheer that he makes us all so happy.

Join us all month long as we share that "same happiness" with YOU!

A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.

Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing)....

Todays challenge concentrates on the white snowman with a black hat! So start your creations using only Black and White. Be sure to mat at least one photo. And a border and tell a story.
I just saw this photo for the first time a couple of months ago. This is the ship that my grandmother came to America on. I 1915 in order for a family to come to America the Father had to come before the rest of the family to get a job and find housing before they could send for the rest of the family. There is one person in the photo of girls that came in 1917 that we haven't been able to identify yet. This was intriguing to me when My sisters and I discovered this. and I knew I needed to scrap it!

Here is mine! Thank you Tamara for the challenge!
I used white vellum over the black card stock. For the border I used a Martha Stewart border punch and corner punch. First time I’ve made them work together! My story is about my first time experiencing snow in Rio Grande City, a magical time. After 1967 it also snowed in Christmas 2004.
