Beautiful_Day_R.jpg
It's A Beautiful Day36 viewsI used my paper pad and Jan’s layout to create this page. That handsome man is my husband on a friend’s boat in 2017. And it WAS a beautiful day! I used Glimmer Mists and Nuvo Drops to embellish mimicking Jan’s page.
Say_WHAT_R.jpg
You Said WHAT36 viewsThis is a picture of my Grandson Garrett a couple of years ago. His Mom sent me this picture with the caption printed across it and I just HAD to scrap it! Based on a layout by Tegan Skwiat for Bella Blvd
Little_Peep_-_Merged_R.jpg
Little Peep35 viewsThese are pictures of our first gosling born in June this year. He had such a cute little sound that Steve named him Little Peep. We’re pretty sure it’s a gander because of how assertive he is. He’s got 4 moms and a dad to keep him safe and they’ve done an amazing job raising him. He’s almost full grown now but he still has that little peep sound so now we just call him Peep. LOL!
Materials – Sketch – Allison Davis; Cardstock – Bazzill; Patterned Papers – Simple Stories, Echo Park and Unknown; Twine
Bear_Crossing_R.jpg
Bear Crossing35 viewsThese are pictures from 2017. I was driving back from a trip to town by myself & as I came over the top of the mountain pass & came around the corner there was this big black bear getting ready to cross the road! Thankfully there wasn’t anyone behind me so I slowed down & grabbed my cellphone to take pictures. He had been over to the Harris River to fill up on some salmon & was on the way back to his den. Steve & I have seen him at least once every year since then & he has gotten quite a bit bigger!

Molly's First Christmas32 viewsThis is a picture of our one and only granddaughter at her first visit to Santa in 2001. The Santa in the bottom left corner was fussy cut from the same patterned paper and pop dotted.

Fa_La_La_-_Merged_R.jpg
Fa La La31 viewsLast Christmas our community got together at a special place and we sang Christmas carols and drank hot cider and the kids put their hand made ornaments on the tree. It was the first time the community had done it and we were all glad they did. The wind was howling and it was bitter cold, but we still had a pretty good turnout for such a small community! The title, snowflakes and swirl are all Silhouette cut files. Sketch – Allison Davis

Our_Cozy_Cabin_r.jpg
Our Cozy Cabin31 views– I used the first row down. But I don’t have paint so I used some Glimmer Mist instead. This is a picture of our cabin in 2017. Most of the trees have been cleared so we could build the new house (cabin will be guest house) and so we can see the saltwater lagoon as well. We will replant with lots of landscaping, greenhouses, an apple orchard, a cherry orchard and lots of other trees and bushes.
Materials – Sketch – Debbie Sanders; All materials are Echo Park “My Favorite Winter” except the Pen (Sharpie
Big_Change_R.jpg
Big Change R30 viewsFor the past 40 years (or maybe longer!) I’ve had long hair – at least shoulder length and down to the middle of my back. After living in our cabin in the woods for 3 ½ years I decided it was time to chop it all off! My friend Tia did the honors and now it’s MUCH easier to handle! My husband had never seen me with short hair. Thankfully he likes it!
Materials – Sketch – Debbie Sanders; Patterned Papers – Jen Hadfield, Basic, Grey, Unknown; Cork Stars, Baker’s Twine, Bling Swirl – From an SG Kit; Large a
Halloween_2018_R~0.jpg
Halloween 201830 viewsI lifted a Pinterest layout. The pictures are of my husband as the pirate, and a neighbor and her granddaughter as mermaids. I’d made treat boxes for a few special friends which are in the bottom picture. The picture on the right is a joke – the old outhouse from the 1980s and a pair of hip wader boots made to look like they’re sitting on an old toilet reading a fake newspaper.
