I was driving back from a trip to town by myself & as I came over the top of the mountain pass & came around the corner there was this big black bear getting ready to cross the road! Thankfully there wasn’t anyone behind me so I slowed down & grabbed my cellphone to take pictures. He had been over to the Harris River to fill up on some salmon & was on the way back to his den. Steve & I have seen him at least once every year since then & he has gotten quite a bit bigger!Mar 22, 2021
