Special Visitors20 viewsThese are pictures of one of Steve’s brothers and his wife on their first visit to the property since we moved here. Having seen it just 10 years before with nothing but the old cabin and the old outhouse on it, Joe and Robin were enjoying seeing our vision for the property. First Winter24 viewsThese are pictures of our geese in their first winter in 2019. They took it all in stride which really surprised us. If their feet got cold, they’d tuck it under a wing and stand on one foot, then switch to the other one. They even learned how to break through thin ice! But in the picture on this page the snow was deep on top of the ice on their pond so Steve had to shovel snow off and then use an axe to make a hole so the geese could take their daily bath. Big Change R30 viewsFor the past 40 years (or maybe longer!) I’ve had long hair – at least shoulder length and down to the middle of my back. After living in our cabin in the woods for 3 ½ years I decided it was time to chop it all off! My friend Tia did the honors and now it’s MUCH easier to handle! My husband had never seen me with short hair. Thankfully he likes it!

Halloween 201818 viewsI found this layout on Pinterest. The pictures are of my husband as the pirate, and a neighbor and her granddaughter as mermaids. I’d made treat boxes for a few special friends which are in the bottom picture. The picture on the right is a joke – the old outhouse from the 1980s and a pair of hip wader boots made to look like they’re sitting on an old toilet reading a fake newspaper. Let It Snow26 viewsThis is a partial picture of our new home under construction in January 2020. It was so pretty out that I was just taking random pictures. This one is our favorite of the building we’re calling Windchime in honor of my late mother who loved and collected wind chimes for many years. I made droplets all over the page using Nuvo Drops. Salmon & Eagles & Bears Oh my30 viewsThese are pictures I took at a creek about 3 minutes from our home. This sketch was perfect for these pictures because we were so far away and my phone only zooms so much. LOL! And I've had these stickers for a VERY long time!

It's A Beautiful Day36 viewsI used my paper pad and Jan’s layout to create this page. That handsome man is my husband on a friend’s boat in 2017. And it WAS a beautiful day! I used Glimmer Mists and Nuvo Drops to embellish mimicking Jan’s page.Jan 31, 2026 at 11:28 AM

Bear Crossing34 viewsThese are pictures from 2017. I was driving back from a trip to town by myself & as I came over the top of the mountain pass & came around the corner there was this big black bear getting ready to cross the road! Thankfully there wasn’t anyone behind me so I slowed down & grabbed my cellphone to take pictures. He had been over to the Harris River to fill up on some salmon & was on the way back to his den. Steve & I have seen him at least once every year since then & he has gotten quite a bit bigger!Jan 29, 2026 at 11:22 AM
Our Cozy Cabin27 viewsThis is a picture of our cabin in 2017. Most of the trees have been cleared so we could build the new house (cabin will be guest house) and so we can see the saltwater lagoon as well. We will replant with lots of landscaping, greenhouses, an apple orchard, a cherry orchard and lots of other trees and bushes. Sketch by Debbie SandersJan 29, 2026 at 09:47 AM

I Got One23 viewsMy husband was so happy when he got his first duck on the first hunt after we moved back up here. The dog found the smell interesting but the cat was NOT impressed. Jan 26, 2026 at 07:17 PM

Salmon26 viewsThis is some of the salmon we caught and canned last year. The layout is based on a Missy Whidden layout. I used my Silhouette to cut the circles. The stencil was a Tim Holtz mini stencil and I used Gunmetal Grey Nuvo Embellishment Mousse. The background is sprayed with Glimmer Mist too. And everything is inked with Ranger Distressed Mini "Abandoned Coral" inkJan 26, 2026 at 12:11 PM
You Said WHAT35 viewsThis is a picture of my Grandson Garrett a couple of years ago. His Mom sent me this picture with the caption printed across it and I just HAD to scrap it! Based on a layout by Tegan Skwiat for Bella BlvdJan 17, 2026 at 03:29 AM
Scenic Drive28 viewsThese are pictures from 2016. They’re from our drive from our home to Craig (35 miles each way). That winter was very cold and snowy so the icicles formed very quickly on the side of the mountain next to the road. These are the biggest but you can see these all along the way. The other pictures are of the biggest mountain peak we see along the way and a pretty sunset over the bay we drive past. Sketch by Debbie SandersJan 17, 2026 at 02:54 AM
Little Peep35 viewsThese are pictures of our first gosling born in June this year. He had such a cute little sound that Steve named him Little Peep. We’re pretty sure it’s a gander because of how assertive he is. He’s got 4 moms and a dad to keep him safe and they’ve done an amazing job raising him. He’s almost full grown now but he still has that little peep sound so now we just call him Peep. LOL!

Snapchat Fun31 viewsThese are pictures of my BFF and her granddaughter. They took silly SnapChat pictures trying to make me feel better when I had an asthma attack. One of the pictures has a sloth hugging them so I found a sloth die cut in the Silhouette store and put it on the page. I used lots of Nuvo Drops to decorate.
Materials – Kit from Scrapbook Generation; Cardstock – Bazzill; Title cut on Silhouette using Broadway and Ravie fonts; Ink – Ranger Distress Mini “Ground Espresso”; Nuvo Drops “Carmel Cream” Crystal DropsJan 16, 2026 at 03:49 PM
