2/29 Art Challenge 25 viewsThis was an emotional challenge, but I'm so grateful for the topic. I've lost both my parents within the last 14 months, which means my precious granddaughter lost her great-grandparents. She was extremely close to both of them & her grief is pretty intense. She has chosen to express her grief through some art projects. This being the 1st of them. I don't think you can see it, but she has written all around the canvas - miss you. Welcome Home13 viewsThis page is about my mom and her home - she had lots of water damage when her pipes burst during this February's Texas ice storm.
Mom JUST moved back in to her house in June (3+ months for renovations!). The house required lots of new stuff - flooring, paint, cabinets, etc. Even now, there are still some finishing touches and insurance issues to resolve, BUT last week, for mom's bday, we were able to celebrate her and her "new" home.
