Join us all month long as we play our version of the Emmy Award-winning series show Survivor! The ultimate goal is the same - to Outwit, Outplay, and Outlast . . and ultimately be crowned Sole Survivor..
A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.
Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing)
For today's "Survivor" challenge, I am featuring foliage. It always seems as if the contestants, while walking to tribal council at the end of the show, emerge from a dense tropical forest waiting to hear their fate. For my project, I featured some favorite pictures of my oldest daughter when we traveled to the most beautiful tropical paradise I have ever seen; Costa Rica. She had so much fun feeding and taking pictures of the monkeys who would appear from the foliage. My challenge for you today, is to feature foliage on your project. Perhaps you could feature a layout of the trees changing colors? Or maybe you have a green thumb and an amazing garden that needs documented? As an added bonus, add a border sticker on your layout. I can't wait to see the greenery you feature!
