A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.
Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favourite online store (random drawing)...
For today's challenge, I was inspired by the flash frozen ice cream bead treat Dippin' Dots. Whenever my oldest daughter went to the amusement part or a baseball game, she always got herself a cup of cookies and cream Dippin' Dots. Therefore, her getting ready to dig into a freshly scooped batch of Dippin' Dots when she was a tiny girl is what inspired this project. My challenge to you is to not only use the sketch from Sketch N Scrap as a guide, but also include as many "dots" on your project as you can. Perhaps you could use buttons? Or sequins? Or use patterned paper circles like I did? I hope you all have fun with this challenge!

Here's mine! I got 2 done for this today. Here's the first using circles and enamel dots.
Photos of sweet grandsons Marcus and Kellan. Marcus is a fantastic basketball player and was asked to play ball at a private school last year. Younger brother Kellan also went. (August 2022)
