August 2023 - I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream . . . for Ice Cream
Whether you like it in a cone, a bowl, in a sandwich, or straight from the tub - Join us as we celebrate the sweetest tasting frozen dessert ever . . . ICE CREAM.
A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.
Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....
For today's challenge I want you to create a layout using one of the sketches below. You are not required to use hexagons. You can use any repeated shape...circles, squares, hearts. Also, I want you to dig deep in your stash, as if you were digging in a pint container for the last scoop of ice cream for something old and let me know what it is.
My old is this Basic Grey Origins collection of patterned papers from 2009. I also dropped my ink pad on my layout, but I wasn't about to start over.
