Join us all month long as we celebrate the large, blended family of six children, known as the Brady Bunch. The family that everyone knows and loves! Groovy!

A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.

The episode about Jan wearing glasses was an episode that I remember well, since I got my first pair of glasses when I was about 11. She didn't like getting glasses and thus was not wearing them when she rode her bike into the family photo and ruined it. So she organized her siblings to have a new photo taken. Her dad found out since in the new photo she was wearing her glasses. My challenge is to use some glass (gems, sequins, metal) and some hidden journalling (her secret)

The secret is revealed on the tag.

Patti, wow you really embraced my challenge. LOVE it all, especially the photos with the glasses. What did you use to keep the photo down? It looks like you have velcro or something

They are Tombo Hook & Loop Tabs---very think velcro-like tabs. Not sure if they are even made any more. I inherited them when Archivers closed.

I used mini brads for metal and tucked my journaling tag behind the photos.
