Join us all month long in January as we post challenges with the focus of scrapping with our unused stash!

Let's face it, we all have a scrappy stash …. things that we are hoarding, forgot we had, never got around to using … yeah, you know you have it, too!

So join us as we say “OUT WITH THE OLD . . . IN WITH THE NEW!”

A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.

Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).


Since I have just recently moved and thought I had down graded my stash drastically, some of my friends would say definitely but since I cannot fit my stash in to the room. Its a Big NO
My challenge today is to use old papers plus what you last purchased or was given in my case

Old Christmas paper and stickers
New white cardstock

I used a mix of older boy papers (all scraps!!!) and my new embellishment is the canvas flair piece

The cardstock is some I have had for several years and my last purchase was the die for the flower mosaic.

I used old cardstock, an old Stampin' Up! Owl punch and very old Sizzix Dies for the letters in the title. The new items to me are the pattern paper and the embellishments,

Some VERY old My Mind's Eye. The newer item are the heart enamels in the top right corner.
