From there to here, and here to there, funny things are everywhere - and that's exactly what you're going to find this month at Cookin' up Creations. This month, all our challenges will be based on Everything Seuss and all the fun quotes, books and characters that we've all grown to know and love.

I chose the book: The foot book
Image

The Foot Book is a children's book written by Dr. Seuss and first published in 1968, “And renewed in 1996” The Foot Book is intended for young children, and it seeks to convey the concept of opposites through depictions of different kinds of feet. The text of The Foot Book is highly stylized, containing the rhymes, repetitions, and cadences typical of Dr. Seuss's work.

My challenge is to use opposites as in color. I used red and green. Also use something in reference to feet: Shoes, walking, traveling or whatever else you can think of.

I did use the sketch from Stick it Down

I dug out my color wheel and chose blue and orange as my opposites. The sheep have on boots.
