August 13th Challenge The Ocean Calls

Ahoy Maties! Join us all month long as we head off on an epic Pirate Adventure. Challenges this month will be "Pirate" themed, but broad enough for interpretation on so many levels. Batten Down the Hatches, it's gonna be a fun month.
Since pirates are on the open seas use ocean photos. If you don't have those then any body of water....river, lakes, streams, pool, etc. 
Here's my example...

Remember - A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, and participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.
Prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....

Oh this is so cute! I really like how you placed the patterned papers to make the pictures pop. LOVE IT!
