Cookin' Up Creations

Join us all month long in April to play the game Clue with you! This is a fun time to try and see if you can guess who did it, where did they do it and how did they do it? I promise you won't be disappointed with the challenges.

Challenges will be based on the game of clue, the color of the pieces, the weapons, and the rooms in the mansion. The challenge team has cooked up some wonderful challenges just for you.

A new Blue Plate Special challenge is posted each Monday (sketch), Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, and participants have until the 3rd of the following month to complete and post their creations in the Cookin' up Creations Gallery.
The prize will be a $20 Gift Certificate to their favorite online store (random drawing).....



Today's challenge is to do a mash-up of the following two LOs to create a third.
You must use all of the Clue colors--white, mustard, green, scarlet, peacock, and plum.
Everyone will be working off of these two LOs.
You must use equal parts of each LO.

You just have to use the colors and pick elements from each LO. Could be the stars, the circles, the sunburst, the title on the side, etc. Your title can be anything.

Here's mine using the colors! From layout #1 I used the basic patterned paper layering in the middle. From Layout #2 I used the stars along with the green chevrons at the bottom pointing to the title.

Thanks! It was an idea that was forming for a challenge that I wasn't sure where it would go. When I sat down to do it my 11-year-old granddaughter was visiting. She did most of the work on the LO as far as layering the letters and placing the circles, stars, and arrows as well as picking out the bottlecap embellishment. At 2 a.m. I finally convinced her it was done and to go to bed. It was fun as I explained what was in my mind and showing her the other LOs and watching her help bring it together.

First layout= colors, background paper and washi tape
2nd layout= stars
3rd layout= birthday title
